PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
BSA collects personal data in the only following categories, depending on your relationship with us:
Identity Data: Full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and a copy of your national identification document or passport, where required for enrolment or CBE examination registration.
Contact Data: Email address, telephone number, and residential or postal address.
Academic and Professional Data: Prior qualifications, transcripts, exemption claims, ACCA student registration number, examination records, and progress tracking data.
Financial Data: Payment records, invoice history, and billing information required to process tuition fees and examination fees. BSA does not store full card details; payment processing is handled by authorised third-party payment providers.
Communications Data: Records of your interactions with BSA by email, telephone, enquiry form, or social media, including complaint records.
Technical and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited when you use the BSA website, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
Event and Attendance Data: Registration and attendance records for BSA events, webinars, and career programmes.
BSA does not collect special categories of sensitive personal data (e.g., health data, religious belief, political opinion) unless you provide this voluntarily and in a specific context that requires it, such as a disability accommodation request.

DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
BSA does not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. BSA may share your data with the following categories of recipients:
ACCA Global: As a Licensed ACCA CBE Centre, BSA is required to share student registration data, examination booking information, and progress records with ACCA Global (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK) for the purposes of student registration, examination administration, and qualification tracking. This transfer is a contractual obligation of BSA's CBE Centre agreement. ACCA Global's own Privacy Policy governs their handling of this data and is available at www.accaglobal.com.
Payment Processors: Financial data required to process fee payments is shared with authorised payment processing providers. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for any purpose other than processing BSA transactions.
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND YOUR OPT-OUT RIGHT
BSA may send you communications about our programmes, events, career opportunities, and institutional news. Under the Law on Electronic Commerce of Cambodia (2019), BSA is required to provide a clear and accessible opt-out mechanism for all marketing communications.
You have the right to opt out of marketing communications at any time. BSA will honour all opt-out requests promptly and without condition. To opt out:

Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional or administrative communications, such as exam reminders, enrolment confirmations, or fee notices, which are necessary for the delivery of your programme.
YOUR RIGHTS
BSA respects your rights in relation to your personal data. To exercise any of your rights, contact BSA in writing at info@bsa.com.kh. BSA will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and respond in full within 30 days. In some cases, additional time may be required; BSA will notify you if this applies.
BSA may need to verify your identity before processing any data rights request to protect the confidentiality of your records.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS
BSA's website may contain links to third-party websites, including ACCA Global, and other partner organisations. BSA is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. BSA may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including in response to changes in Cambodia's legal framework such as the forthcoming Personal Data Protection Law.
